COVID-19 Vaccine for Children Under Five

The COVID-19 vaccine is the best way to keep our children safe. The CDC recommends COVID-19 vaccines for everyone six months and older.

Parents and caregivers can now get their children six months through five years of age vaccinated with the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccines to better protect them from COVID-19. All children, including those who have already had COVID-19, should get vaccinated.

COVID-19 vaccines are free and available to everyone at no cost.

Parents or caregivers can find available vaccines at vaccinatecnmi.com, by contacting CHCC Immunization at (670) 682-7468, or by speaking with their healthcare provider.

Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)

WIC participants are automatically eligible for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).

The ACP provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands.

Eligible households may also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers.

Participants can enroll through a participating broadband provider or directly with the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) using an online or mail-in application.

Learn more about eligibility and enrollment by visiting www.fcc.gov/ACP or calling 877-384-2575.

Please note: Because the ACP provides a discounted broadband service and/or device rather than a direct cash benefit, ACP benefits do not count as income for WIC eligibility determination purposes [7 CFR 246.7(d)(2)(iv)(B)].
