Offers free or low-cost screening services for eligible women to detect breast and cervical cancer early. -
Diabetes Self-Management Education
Supports individuals with diabetes by providing education on nutrition, medication use, physical activity, and self-monitoring to improve health outcomes and quality of life. -
Environmental Health
Protects and promotes community health by reducing environmental risks where people live, work, and play through education, inspections, monitoring, and enforcement of health standards. -
Family to Family Health Information Center
Assists families of children and youth with special health care needs by providing education, resources, and individualized support to navigate health systems, coverage options, and care coordination. -
Family Planning
Provides confidential reproductive health services, including birth control, pregnancy testing, preventive screenings, education, and counseling to support informed family planning decisions. -
HIV/STD Program
Promotes sexual health through confidential testing, treatment, partner services, and prevention education for HIV and sexually transmitted infections. -
H.O.M.E. Visiting
Offers in-home support for pregnant women and families with young children, focusing on child development, positive parenting practices, and maternal health and well-being. -
Immunization
Protects community health by preventing the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases through routine immunizations for children, adolescents, and adults. -
Newborn Screening & Service Coordination
Helping newborns get the best possible start by identifying certain medical conditions early and connecting families to timely care, intervention, and support when needed. -
Nicotine Cessation
Helps individuals quit smoking or vaping through evidence-based counseling, support services, and access to nicotine replacement and cessation resources. -
TB Program
Prevents and controls the spread of tuberculosis by providing testing, treatment, case management, and education for individuals at risk or affected. -
WIC
Provides nutrition education, healthy foods, and breastfeeding support to pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and young children to promote healthy growth and development. -
WISEWOMAN Heart Health Screening and Management Services
The WiseWoman Program promotes cardiovascular health by providing preventive screenings, risk reduction education, and supportive lifestyle interventions to help women identify and manage chronic disease risk factors.
Public Health Data serves as the foundation for evidence-based decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting critical health information. Through robust data systems and surveys, this unit helps identify community health needs, monitor trends, and guide policies and programs that improve population health across the CNMI.

Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS)
Surveys residents regarding health-related risk behaviors, chronic health conditions, health-care access, and use of preventative services to improve public health services. -
Community Health Assessment (CHA) / Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP)
Identifies the community’s health needs and priorities and guides actions to improve health outcomes across the CNMI. -
Maternal Child Health (MCH) Data
Tracks the health of mothers, infants, and children to support programs that improve birth outcomes and child development. -
Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Data
Collects and analyzes information on chronic conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and cancer to guide prevention and health programs. -
Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS)
Surveys mothers about their experiences before, during, and after pregnancy to improve maternal and infant health services.
Health Resources offers marketing materials, presentations, and outreach to better serve the public.
