OUR PROGRAM
The HIV/STD/VH Prevention Program provides services that reduce the further transmission of STDs including HIV. They work to increase the quality of care among those already infected through education, prevention services and referral systems to medical and social services.

Who Is Eligible?
No residency is required, and no individual is turned away regardless of ability to pay.
What Is the Cost?
Medicaid and private insurance are accepted, and assistance with payment options is available.
Get Yourself Tested (GYT)
Get Yourself Tested is a campaign encouraging young people to get tested and treated for sexually transmitted diseases (STIs) to protect their health and that of their partners.

Section 5. Consent of Minors to HIV Testing
This provision applies only to consents given by minors for the provision of medical care and services involving diagnostic examinations, prescriptions, administration of medication, and other items related to the treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, the HIV virus, or AIDS.
This provision does not apply to surgery or any other kind of medical procedure.
Consent to the provision of medical care and services by any public provider in the Commonwealth, when executed by a female minor who is or professes to be afflicted with, or is concerned with being afflicted with, a sexually transmitted disease, the HIV virus, or AIDS, shall be valid and binding as if the minor had reached the age of majority.
The minor requesting medical attention shall be deemed to have the same legal capacity to consent and the same legal obligations as a person of full legal age and capacity.
